About the Founder
“As a child growing up in Cape Verde, I personally remember this day being so special for us as kids. My sister and I began to fundraise every year and buy school supplies for a chose group of children as we unfortunately cannot afford to help everyone on our own. Last June, we were able to help 1150 kids and provide each of them with a pair of shoes and a backpack filled with school supplies. This year, we have a goal to do the same for 1000+ kids. For these reasons, we ask for your support to help us deliver this day the way it is meant to be celebrated.”
